Plants are stripped of their decorative tropes and treated as objects of art. In collaboration with the clients and Byram Wadia Associates, we curated a collection of botanical rarities, chosen for their architectural defiance. submit arrow

Apartment balcony

The rest of the space unfolds as a rhythmic sequence of botanical silhouettes. From the interior, the glass acts as a cinematic frame, turning the balcony into a living plant gallery. The visual flow is intentional: the towering Draco commands the height, while the Ponytail Palm—housed in a bespoke, low-rider fiber clay vessel—grounds the gaze, highlighting its sculptural root ball as a curated interior detail.

Understated nooks are carved out of the balcony terrace to provide options for outside time. A minimalist table is tucked into a dense thicket of foliage, creating a green sanctuary where light and shadow perform a constant, "chiaroscuro" dance across the marble.

By mirroring the interior material palette in custom-made fiber clay, the boundary between the home and the horizon disappears. It is a space of disciplined glamour, where the view from the sofa is not of a garden, but of a series of monumental, living artworks.
