A landscape designed to celebrate the horizon. When the backdrop is a breathtaking view of the city, the greenery must be secondary to the sky. For this project, we treated the wrap-around balcony as a series of distinct zones—from an intimate morning coffee nook to an expansive lounge for evening entertainment—ensuring every inch of the cityscape remains the protagonist. 
Residential balcony
We selected for their striking silhouettes and their ability to thrive in an elevated, often cyclonic environment. These resilient palms act as living anchors against the Mumbai skyline, providing structure without obstructing the view. To bridge the interior and exterior, we designed a planter palette that incorporates hot blue tones, mirrored directly from the apartment's interiors.
Orange Bougainvillea (variety: California Gold) with its rich hues were positioned as a focal point visible from deep inside the home, to break against the green canopy. To ground the layout, we sourced Gaia pots and integrated custom-made pebbles, adding a sculptural weight to the floor plate that feels both rugged and refined.
As the sun sets, the space shifts. We utilized dramatic uplighting on the palms to enhance the evening atmosphere, transforming the balcony into cinematic retreat high above the city.

This spatial planning ensures every inch of the view is celebrated. An expansive yet intimate outdoor living area mirrored the apartment's interiors, specifically incorporating the hot blue tones into the outdoor planter palette.
The balcony's wrap-around configuration allowed for distinct zones – from an intimate seating area perfect for morning coffee to a more expansive lounge for evening entertaining.
